But now, after a few months, they have something to reveal. Keep reading to find out.
Recently, EA clarified that instead of handling the mobile version of Apex Legends themselves, they opted to start a contract with a Chinese developer who will help them develop the mobile version of Apex Legends and also help them release it in China on a large scale just like how PUBG mobile was developed and released.
Recently in a Q/A session, EA’s CFO Blake Jorgenson made the following statement:
Rolling mobile out in China, you need to have a partner, and we’re working with a partner there, and we’re very excited about the opportunity. That partner is also helping us develop a mobile Apex for the globe—more to come on that in terms of timing.

This should not be surprising for EA fans because if you are one, you may know that this is not the first time Electronic Arts has turned to Chinese developers, in past, they have got few of their flagship games developed for mobile phones such as Need For Speed and FIFA by Chinese developers.
According to sources, Tencent is likely the partner EA is going to work with on this title but it is not confirmed yet. We shall have to wait to find out.
Anyways, it is still not clear that when it will be ready to be played on mobile phone devices but still, this news is really exciting.
We wonder what kind of experience it will be because playing a fast-paced game like Apex Legends on a mobile phone is going to be a unique experience.
