Exact three days ago from now, on the 30th of January, a gaming event kicked off in Istanbul Turkey which got great attention from gamers all over the world.
The event lasted for three days, from the 30th of January to the 2nd of February 2020. (Back in 2019, this event managed to attract over 100,000 people and this time it was even more vibrant.)
GIST (Gaming Istanbul) is not just a computer games exhibit, it is a plethora of games exhibit.
Whether it is a pc game, an Xbox game or a phone game, all kinds of games are offered at GIST. Sounds fascinating, doesn’t it?
The event was sponsored by many huge companies who have struggled hard to make their names in the market such as Logitech, Google, Nintendo, and others.
GIST also provided many esports tournaments of many games like Fortnite and League Of Legends and many other games that caught a lot of attention from professional gamers all over the world. In the event, many seminars were also held related to game development and game designing.
The GIST 2020 has got considered among the biggest gaming events held recently in Europe and the middle east.
According to recent research, Turkey exports games worth over $1 billion annually which clearly gives us a hint about their evolution in the field of gaming. It is also expected that the country will be gaining over $10 billion annually and all the credit goes to its young population.
