The major companies to introduce new laptop models at CES 2021 include:
- Acer Nitro 5
- Asus Zephyrus G14
- Gigabyte Aorus 15P
- Dell Alienware m17 R4
- Lenovo legion 7
- Razer Blade 15 Advanced
Acer Nitro 5: It is the most affordable gaming laptop with the Ryzen 5000 series processors in almost every model, and GTX 1650 to RTX 3080 is offered that varies from unit to unit with the base model costing $750 exceeding to $2300 is the most expensive.
Asus Zephyrus G14: this laptop gains the best value proposition and has its own indescribable charm. It is picked up as the coolest tech of CES 2021 because of its ultra-portable Flow X13 and its tiny XG mobile RTX 3080 external GPU. However, if seen traditionally, the Zephyrus G14 owns the classy design with a powerful Ryzen 4000 processor; a massive screen improvement as the 1080p 120Hz 16: 9 has been upgraded with 1440p QHD screens, 16:10 120Hz, making it better a machine in terms of displays and resolutions. Finally, it’s RTX 2060 Max-Q is swapped with RTX 3060 Max-P.
Gigabyte Aorus 15P: it made it in the list because of its dual fans and five heat pipes to extinguish heat from CPU, GPU and other parts, reducing the temperature by 10 degrees. It further has Microsoft Azure Al to balance the load between the CPU and GPU making it the coolest laptop.
Dell Alienware m17 R4: in this CES 2021 Dell also elevated its game as they decided to opt for the latest RTX 30-series Graphic card and an enhanced display option. However, they still feature the 10th generation Core i7 or Core i9 intel processors making the user deprived of the 45W 11th generation intel parts. Anyhow, they introduced the HDMI 2.1 support, which enables the connection compatible to 4K, 120Hz monitors and TVs and also have expanded the memory and storage option. However, no 1440p screen is available as they have only given the option of 1080p 144Hz, 1080 360Hz, or 4K 60Hz, they will retail at $2150 making them a wholly premium position. The prices are justified as they have also installed 4K OLED screen options.
Lenovo legion 7: in terms of gaming laptop’s trend Lenovo has exactly and perfectly captured the trend in CES 2021 by upgrading their displays, RTX 30-series graphic cards and processor of Ryzen 5000. The screen has significant features as the display contains 16- inch 1440p 165Hz G-Sync unit with 16: 10 aspect ratio, along with HDR capability up to entry-level DisplayHDR 400 certification and Dolby Vision support. The company made a promising package by inserting Corsair iCue controlled RGB lighting and internally upgraded the design by inserting more heating pipes, copper and temperature sensors.
Razer Blade 15 Advanced: This laptop is made up of high-quality durable aluminium. They also have their RTX 30- series graphics, up to 15-inch 1440p 240Hz screen option, Ryzen 5000 processor, and the 10th-gen part that are only in $2500.
